Weld a Diff?

my boy down in Ramona welds the shit out of anything. He welded my open diff and added gussets.

I do not recommend welding your diff....

Again do not do it !!!! Save some $ and set real lsd !!!

I have welded diff my self and i miss my old 2 way....

And i regret so much for welding my diff....

... if your car is going to be a balls to the wall drift car... go ahead and weld it (IMO theres nothing better) ive had lsd's and ive had welded and i personaly like the instant response i get from a welded diff.. but if your car is a daily save and buy an LSD.. youll get sick of dailying a welded real quick..

yeah thats what evryone tells me but its just the fact that im on a low budget for an event coming up i seriously dont wanna go with an open diff so thats why im looking to weld it. as far as it goes im only hoping to have a welded diff for a month or so and ima buy and extra one to save up for a LSD so yeah need to weld my diff ASAP if you guys can please help me out

Why don't you buy two diffs? One welded, one open, so when you get back to the house or something just switch it back to normal for daily driving. But I would just go the 2-way lsd route. If you are on a budget how are you going to have money for tires? Do you have extra sets?
