so maybe after a couple of days after my fans stop working my car was always running hot. so i checked the fuses and nothing at all. now theres white smoke coming from under my hood when i drive. could this be a blown head gasket? should i just but a new head?

it would be a good idea to check your compression to see if you have a leek in the head gasket. you can get the tool at any local auto parts store. and if you have low compression it could be a warped valve or even head gasket but it is an easy and not to expensive part so i wouldnt get a new head unless the head itself is craked and if it is i have two spare heads for sale ok. a good indication of a bad head gasket is if your car smells like coolant out the exhaust

fucking geezus blind leading the damn blind... you are probably overheating... Its probably steam coming from your radiator and coolant reservoir and you are probably running low on coolant.... Get that fan fixed, cars CANNOT run without fans

Irregardless... get your fan fixed... the bottle melting means you are overheating your coolant which means, you are really hurting that motor. Don't run the car without a working fan period.

That coolant must have gotten REALLY hot to melt the bottle.
