As some of you know i am swapping a redtop into my 95 240. I am about 96 percent done and ran into a little problem. I went to try starting it for the first time and it didnt fire. I checked spark, its great. I checked the fuel and its not so great. I am getting gas up past the fuel filter near the rail ,but it seems to not be making its way to the head. Any suggestions? Its all stock. I sprayed a small amopunt of gas into the throttle body and it fired. So i know its a fuel issue.

are your injectors firing?? they're probably not firing. check the wiring harness...not sure how to do that right now.

Pull Rail off IM and crank engine to watch for Fuel Injector spraying
OR...
Get Volt Meter and check that your leads on each inj plug have voltage, basically the injector itself just completes the circuit of power coming from the inj output from your ecu, that's what opens the vale to allow fuel to spray out, very simple thing actually...
Make sure your fuel pump is staying on after ignition and start up also, your EGI Pump relay, your ECCS Relay as well as your wiring in your battery area could be culprits as well.
As Sogu said, make sure your ECU plug wiring is in good shape and go find a pin out online so you can check that evreything is connected on the big blue plug end

does the Vehicle speed sensor have anything to do with the injectors pulse? I ask cuz mine is broke and its the only thing i can think of that would send a signal to the injectors?

do the injectors get their signal from the ecu? i double checked all the wiring and its all soldered and strong. Any suggestions? its the last thing i need to have the swap completed. All input would help. Thank you

are the injectors gummed up or clean? i usually run a BG can thru my fuel rail when dropping in a used motor.

i checked them and they seemed pretty clean. Also i checked and they are all getting 12 volts. the guy i bought it off of claims he put a new CAS on there and its only got about 4500 mles on it. how do i test that to see if its working?
