Hey guys, just purchased my first import. :D All my friends were confused, since I've always been a Mustang guy. I've always wanted a 240 project, however, and came across a really good deal that I couldn't pass up.

I picked up this bad boy last Friday. It's a 1992 coupe with a KA24DE (DOHC, w00t), mated to a 5-speed. Picked it up for dirt cheap. As far as I can tell, it has a Nismo catback, Tokico Blue coilovers, some sort of longtube header, and obviously the S13 Silvia front end with the triple projector headlights.

I'm honestly in love with this car... It handles so well and feels so light, so it contrasts the Mustang very nicely (which doesn't handle too poorly given the suspension mods I've performed on it, but the 240 would run circles around it). The power isn't too bad, I think the dual cams help with that, and for a 4 banger, it's got some decent torque (coming from a guy with a V8 Mustang). I don't know a whole lot about 240s, but that's why I joined this forum in hopes that I'll learn a lot from you guys.

Anyways, here are some quick pics I took with my iPhone:

Like I said, the thing is fun as hell to drive, and I'm looking forward to seeing where this whole project goes. Let me know what you gents think. Throw out any basic info or suggestions you have. :D

Oh, and here's a pic of the Stang, if anyone cares. :p

Thanks.

BTW - Any wheel recommendations? I'm not looking to spend $8,000 on a set of HREs, just FYI. :p Something affordable that looks nice, preferably in bronze.

Good.

HRE wheels seem to be ugly, overpriced, stupid, etc.

You could probably get some nice sized cast wheels in bronze from the likes of WORK WHEELS or VOLK WHEELS.

A lot of the 240 guys run them.

Work emotion or something like that.

p.s. this thread will be locked soon by moderators.

Don't feel sorry.

If they ask, tell them I said it was ok.

Will do. I've heard good things about RPF1s, and they don't seem too expensive. What are good wheel sizes for these cars with a staggered setup? 17x8 front/17x9 rear?
