April SoCali Meet- Gran turismo championships?

I was thinking of a general so cali meet for april. Also maybe an Ilink PS2 Gran Turismo 3 championship? Just thought id throw some ideas out

Come to DD5, we can all hang out there! It's kinda funny, I never see any of us (anyone from that meet back back then) at any of these drift events! What's up with that, man?! :D

I would be more then happy to host a GT3 fest at my apt in pasadena...who doesnt want to play GT3 on a 51inch High Definition TV with a home theater setup? Maybe it's a good excuse for me to finally get the optical sound cable for the PS2.
We can also have a BBQ too! woo!!!

The Plan:

Meet at gregshins apartment.

All chip in for food/drinks/alkyhol (if anyone is so inclined). Create a pool with the extra cash, if you are all the gambling folk.


Gt3 setups on two tvs, 2 lap elimination matches.

Celebrate winners, scorn losers.

*trashing gregshins apartment is optional.

Ok...when do you guys want to have it? Night time or daytime? If you guys wanna BBQ its better if we do it in the day. If you guys can help pitch in for the BBQ that would be awesome.

I have one PS2 at the apt and 3 tv sets at my place.

How about one of the next weekends coming up, daytime sat or sun, and yes i think we should all chip in for the bbq. Does anyone have i.link? Gregshin do you have all the tracks unlocked/cars? I am about 50% done with the game, have about i dunno an assload of cars, and the b set of tracks open (hey i did all this with only minimal cheating:o) or another solution: gameshark
