alright, well im about to buy a car. but he says that it needs a new part, and he has a pic pointing to what it needs. im not real technical, what part is this?

and also how diffucult is it to do a tranny swap from auto to 5-speed. thanks!

The upper radiator hose is the thing he's pointing at.

Yes upper radiator hose. Should be under 20 bucks from your auto shop.

if you cant identify a radiator hose then you shouldnt be doing a 5 speed swap.

hey give him a break. we all started somewhere. but yes its an upper rad hose. but make sure its that maybe the inlet is broke? make sure he is specific

yea yea i know. but my dad has all the tools for it, and knows exactly how to do it, so i might as well learn from hands on experience right?

make its just a hose and not a cracked radiator neck he's pointing to.

hmmm the hose has the sticker still likes its been replaced recently. something smells fishy. drive it first and good, vary the rmps, put a load on the motor, turn the ac on and go around stop and go traffic. It can maybe tell u more than a bad hose...
