Yeah, what online store has the best deal for a S13 FMIC? the best I have found is $799 for the Greddy from Heavy Throttle.
How about a better deal, anybody ?

if you search long enough and have enough patience you can get a good deal
i paid $450 for a pieced together kit
$250-Greddy FMIC
$200-s14 Blitz ic piping (the s14 piping does work if you have the extension that runs off the throttle body)

$64 shipped for a front-mount intercooler off a Volvo 740... something like 24" wide core, 16" tall, 2.25" thick (forget exact dimensions, these are close though). only problem is i haven't done piping yet (will do custom piping with mandrel-bent aluminum) and i might need to make new endtanks (in/out are 2" diameter... if i can't widen the in/outlets i'm gonna just get new endtanks welded on)

yeah, I guess these do it yourself type deals would be much cheaper, but I think a more complete kit would be better for me, I don't think I would be able to fab alot of the piping, not my thing, plus I would like the S13 kit for ease fit and finish, they sure are proud of these kits $800-1200 and you still need a hot pipe w/bov flange, and a smaller battery, or get a trunk kit.

I am a Spearco autorized dealer, and can get you a really nice intercooler for around $500. Some are less, others are more, but for a really nice performance FMIC to fit your application, I can hook you up pretty good. If you ask around, you might find that I have been offering pretty sound deals to members of these forums who email me with their handle. You can email me directly at
[email protected] with specific questions, if you like.

i can get some decent pipe segments for relatively cheap and get a friend to weld it up or just practice a bit with some junk pipe before doing my IC piping... i don't mind a lot more work if i can save that much money. and yeah, i'm gonna probably get the HT hot pipe w/Blitz flange to make one step a bit easier, but the other parts of making the piping work shouldn't be too hard. and if i'm doing the piping myself, i can probably avoid the stock-size battery and avoid running a crapload of wiring to get a trunk-mount setup done right...
