Vegasdrift LLC is hosting Las Vegas's First Formula Drift ProAm Event

July 10th - 11th 2009

4 National ProAm Invitations will be awarded.

Drivers that prove their ability to compete and portray themselves on a professional level at this Formula Drift/ProAm event will be eligible to compete at the Championship Event held December 5th 2009 - Firebird International Raceway – Phoenix, AZ.

Thanks Cody. Yeah, Kelvin drives the maroon FC, used to be black, took first at 626 Balcony comp a while back. I didn't actually see it, I was dealing with the bleeder screw that dissappeared off of my water neck and caused all of my coolant to spew out. They said he entered too late, clipped the tire stack by the wall which caused him to go up on two wheels and slowly roll over to the right side fo the car. We are all gald he is ok, but the damage is extensive.

what i read is the walls werent secured together or something thats pretty standard.
So when he hit it the wall just moved back and instead of bouncing off and deflecting his momentum away, it continued to let him plow into it even harder and he took the force pretty head on.

i dont understand why ueo didnt advance. didnt tuerck in their first battle hit ueo from behind? so Tuerck would be immediately at fault right? even Tony Angelo said it.

Then the second run they said Ueo had a small "correction." Don't you guys think hitting a car from behind and making the car spin / stop drifting weighs much heavier than a "small correction?"

I don't think there was any reason to go OMT. Then in the 2nd OMT, when Tuerck is leading, he misshifts and stops drifting? Looks like the advantage / win would go to Ueo but nooo, Tuerck advances?

I am going solely based off the FD twitter updates so I dunno, but judging by what was said on Twitter, Ueo should have advanced.

Maybe somebody that is actually there can chime in on what happened.
