Car Cranks up & idles Fine w/ the MAF unplugged,...min you plug it in it Stumbles bad,..You can Somewhat "catch" it,..but eventually dies.
Unplug the MAF and its Great - Idles Steady.Granted it won't rev past 3k w/ its unplugged.
Not much Throttle Responce w/ MAF plugged in when SPinning Throttle Pulley though.Like Throttle Dosen't exist.
1: Boost leak?? = car shouldn't still idle w/ Maf Unpluggedthough right?
2: Tried 3 Diff MAF's
3: tried 3 Diff ECU's (E5,E5 & E6 ecu's)
4: Checked MAF wiring,...seems to be fine.No wires Mixed up.
5: test Maf 2v,2v & 12V (all 3 pins)
6: MIL Codes = 55 on 1 ECU & Knock and MAF code on another ECU
Car is a Bone STock Blktop w/ GT2860 Stock everything else.
BRAND NEW SR20 WIRE HARNESS Installed.Wiring done by me.
**MY 2nd SR wiring job.1st car ran w/ 0 problems.**
No BOV Installed yet and Nipples Capped on whats not use.Only FPR is plummed.
Wastegate Vac is off the Hot pipe (using a FRsport nipple source)

i had the same problem, i even tried a bunch of different mafs, so i completely ruled out the maf.
guess what.... it was the maf, you described a problem that only a bad maf/ maf error will create.
try a new maf again, but time find someone with a sr or sohc ka. have them drive their car to your house, pull their maf off and put it on your car. just wire you car to run an sohc maf, they are cheaper and everywhere! i run one, it works perfectly.

Right.It only makes sence.
Knock Code came up w/ the 1 E6 Ecu because the car was Bogging like Hell,..so more than Likley Thats why.
So just search for Re-wiring a SOHC Maf and it'll tell me?What about this.
Go ahead and Put a Z32 MAF w/ my 550CC's (not in the car now) in and a safc??Too many more Issues could Stem?Is THAT ALL THATS Needed to RUn Z32? or even Maxima Maf.I have 2 of them right here w/ plugs.
I would rather get the car running right 1st before doing all that^ but Hell,..I have only 2 friends w/ SR's and 1 is Not somewhere where he could bring it by.
I ordered a New TPS anyway because that seemed to be the issue 1st because the way it was Reading Voltage wise.I think its fine now actually.
I have NO CLue WTF is making this SO hard.Never had an Issue w/ this shit. Its Pretty damn Straight Forward and I have so many tools to Trial and Error w/.
2-3 Diff Maf's (1 from some diff type of SR/Plug dosen't match)
3 ECU's
1 New TPS
MIL hooked (flashes Codes now) up and Working on the Consult Software,..cable is Bullshit I think,

1 more thing I guess I should Note.
The Turbo has only a 3inch Inlet so I'm using a Brand New Silicon 3" Elbox to connect to a 3in piping pro's Intake tube. Then to a 3-2in reducer silicone tube - to STock Maf adaptor/MAF pipe w/ Filter.
Not sure if that has Anything to do w/ it. Air coming in Should STill be Metered the same just thats the only way this GT2860 can Go.

had the same problem on my KA. If its running better without the maf in then its A) the maf, B) the wires to the ecu, C) the ECU. In my case it was the ecu.

I figured out my issue and would have never known to look there either.
FOund the Adaptor that allows you to Mount a Intake Filter to the OEM Maf Pipe was for a 3" filter,..well the inside Diameter of the Maf adptor was only about a 2"x2" square opening.SQUARE! so,...the top half of the square was covering the Maf's Hotwire allowing very little air flow to flow over it.
Plugged the MAF in w/ no filter and it ran Great all of a sudden. The Tried to put the filter back on and it Bogged!
UNREAL!
