Friend is picking up a new black dash tommorrow for realy cheap thing is he has a 89 Fastbask with analog cluster.
Will the HUD dashboard fit the cluster with no problem or is there some mods. that have to be done to it ?

You will have to put the digital speedo in there and let it just flop around back behind the analog speedo. The digital HUD gets its info from the digital speedo. There is no corresponding controller on the analog cluster. You'll see what I mean if you take everything apart and look at it.

I think he's just replacing the dash top material.
In which case, yes, everything will fit as normal, but you'll have the hole where the HUD goes left open.

yeah, that's what i thought too...but sometimes people don't always ask the clearest questions :( So, I figured I'd just answer that in the event that he didn't know what he was getting in to.

thats right all I am replacing is the dash top material sorry if it wasnt to clear. I was just wondering is the analog speedo fit in a HUD dash.
By the wat picked up the dash board today and got a bit of a surprise. with the dash he also gave us the digital speedo, HUD all wires, center consle, door panels, shift knob , steering surround, glove box , center bezel radio kit, basicly the whole front interior of the car for $50 . all with no cracks
:D Hows that for a junkyrad find lol
