View Full Version : is 17 x 8 w/ +35 offset too big for all around??

hey all, I am trying to put the 5zg's typoon all round on my car, and wondering if this is too big (17 x 8 up front??) for our car?? I have stock suspension all around for right now, will it be ok?? I am planning to upgrade to gp coilovers later thought.. let me know what you guys think, thanks??

They will fit and all, but they will not be flush at all with the fender without spacers. If you don't care about that look, you are all set. If you want a flush wheel, get a lower offse. Like a 17x8 +25 or close. Or 17x9 +30 or less.

17x8 +29 should be flush.

im running 17x8 +35 all the way around its fine. juss buy a 5mm spacer to flush it out a bit

Well that's my car's offset, and tire width will probable be the same as mine (225ish) so no.

I used to have that exact set up on my 97 240sx with the same exact rims. I had no problems with it except it was not flush with the fenders but with 5mm spacers front and 15mm spacer on the back...it look better and flushed.
