what i mean is when installed, do they really read correctly. like when it'd be reading 110 mph... would you be going 110, or like around 75 like the old speedo? get what i'm saying???

i dont believe they actually read up to 180mph... my guess is that on the LS gauge... if it says ur doin 180mph... ur actually doin 115 like on the old gauge... at the LS automotive website... they give you instructions to install the gauge but nowhere does it say u hafta calibrate them.
personally... i think they screwed up when they made them... they were prolly tryin to make jdm gauges (since jdm is the way to go) that display 180kph.. cept accidentally put mph on... hehe

wow...it seems like you have soooo much proof to back that statement up. If you're really having problems believeing that the speedo work like they say they do...then contact them and get the info straight from them. From what I know they do work, and the speed they show is the speed that you're going. But then I don't have proof to back that up either.
So what's the moral to this story?? ...contact the vendor.
