Thats a damn good deal. I feel uncomfortable using anything but Mobil 1 oil, but that price might convince me otherwise.

Try other oil when you get a chance. When I had Mobil 1 oil in my car it didn't feel good. I dunno just IMO...
Autozone has month's deals with oil and filters. Some are really good... Some aren't. The last month was great deal 5 qt of Castrol full Synthetic other than the new stuff and K&N filter for $30.
I've been use 0-30 European Formula oil and I've been loving this stuff. Way better the RP and cheaper.

I didn't go for the deal before that just because it came with a fram filter. I like the mobil 1 filters though. Might buy my next oil change early cuz the mobil 1 deal is like $34 and quaker state is good oil.

I'd recommend Royal Purple or Redline myself.

They seem to have a sale like this every month changing the oil and filter. They always have a regular and a synthetic deal. I hold out for the Castrol GTX and the Mobil 1 deals. Usally they come with a Purolator filter. One time it came with a Fram and they let me buy the deal then exchange the Fram for a Purolator.

yeah usually they do run the deals but rarely do i see a solid deal on full synthetic with a mobil 1 filter. plus from reading the Q Horsepower label, its engineered for cars that take regular beatings.
either way for $24 bux i will try a new oil.
as for RP, i have heard to many spun bearing stories on that. especially in a turbo car.
on the counter, i ran RP 10w30 in my n/a KA with zero problems.
havent really given redline a chance yet.

When I ran Q oil I used the Toque one. I liked the oil but it broken down quick. I felt great for about 2.2k miles then I changed it.

Definitely, if it's $39. A quart of RP goes for $8.99 here in the midwest. If you use RP, or want to try it, I'd jump on it.
When I was using it in my S14, I was paying almost $50 just for the oil... Fuck that. Lol.

i think last month they had the mobil 1 w/ m1 filter here and the month before that it was castrol w/ k&n filter, both were 30 bux w/ filter and oil.

i know why i dont. because i would have some half ass mechanic doing my oil change. he is one of two things:
stoner
or
retard
(doesnt go for all, just ones i encountered)
none of which i trust my car with.
another reason is I am too low to even make it in the bay and on the lift.
lastly, they only use conventional oil.
