I'm looking to go KA-T soon but had a few questions that I didn't see answers to on the forums here.
First of all, I drive a 1998 Nissan 240SX SE. The car is mostly stock and has a stock KA24DE in healthy condition.
I wanted to know if there is a parts list of EXACTLY EVERYTHING that I would need to go KA-T. I wanted to get 300+ WHP, that's my goal. Around 350 WHP would be better. Also another thing is I want a reliable setup. Is there a way I could find a kit that has everything I need or what? Any help would be great! Thanks!

Already checked that site, doesn't really tell exactly what you need...

Yeah, you have to search for it.
Maybe try that.
Research and knowledge are key to a successful KA-T endeavor.

This thread would fit better over there though.

I have one over there also. I'm just trying to post in a few different forums to see if I can find the answer...

First off you are going to need a KA...

go on ka-t.org and search..to start you off you will need a turbo, turbo manifold, downpipe, wastegate, intercooler (FMIC or SMIC), oil lines (return and feed), some type of fuel management/tuning/tuned ECU, bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump (walbro 255), bigger maf, gauges to read boost, etc, bov, gaskets for turbo manifold, downpipe, etc, stronger clutch... pretty much up to you.. if you want to make 300hp youre going to need a nice t3/t4, external wastegate, a good tune, at least 550cc injectors, z32 maf, and something that will keep it cool..

Most useful post I have seen so far. Thanks.

Also I believe that to reach those numbers you are going to need to build the bottom end, or at least upgrade to good forged pistons. Too much boost on the KA has a tendency to fold the stock pistons.

anything above 300 i would buid the bottom end. there are plenty of ka's with stock bottom ends that are close to the 300hp mark. but tuning is key! good luck.

cxracing vogues that there kit at the wastegate set to 7psi you make 250whp and you keep stock fuel pump stock injectors and to top it off stock ecu no tune needed but if you up the boost you need to change thoes things. Also they claim that there top mount mani clears master cylinder with no prob and hold up under big boost. Check em out and tell me what you think if you go with them there kit is 100% compleate you need nothing I would recomend oil re locate kit. FYI make sure when you tap into the oil pan for the return line you but lots of grease on your bit and drill really really slowly. or just take your oil pan off but thats more work but alot more safe PM me if you have anymore questions I would glady answer them for you.

honestly the tune is the most important thing.
a non tuned/shitty tuned KA-T will blow a stock engine within a few thousand miles. guaranteed
