Fuses inside and under the hood. You can't just check a few and think you're done. Check them ALL.

oh i see but which ones, i looked under the hood and according to the labels non of them have to do with the interior. oh and also, i noticed my engine check light is on now.
how do i check those fat fuses under the hood?
thanks for all the help.
check the 75A fuse. its the fusible link which gets power to, i think all the interior

You meant 7.5A right?
****I think the car won't even turn on w/o the 7.5 A fuse. Check the ignition fuse. Hopefully you didn't burn any accesory relays. To check your fuses just take them out one by one and test with a multimeter for continuity. replace as needed
He meant the 75A fusible link under the hood in the relay box. Check all your shit, seriously.
no, i meant 75A. when mine blew, i could turn on my car and drive it. just that no lights inside until the alternator made enough power
edit: yes Enna, that one :)

You do realize there are shared circuits in the car? For example, the 'BATT ELECTRONICS' fuse is the back up power for the clock and radio. The reverse light circuit is powered by the gauge cluster. Plenty of common links, so once again don't go read and skip the ones you think aren't important, CHECK EVERY FUSE.

I think thats it..
Get a pair of needle nose pliers, and pull one at a time, and look at it. A blown one will have a burn mark (usually) and a break in the metal inside.
Make sure the amp rating is the same as what it says on the cover. You dont want to have a fuse thats too small or you may keep blowing it, and you dont want one too big or something might fry.
Good luck!
