Finally my quest for rims is over! I am getting the mesh style I always wanted and I am soooooo pumped.

Anyways I need some help picking tire sizes:
16x7 front and 16x8 rear

I am now looking at 195 50 16 or a 205 50 16. Kumho Exsta or Dunlop.
BTW clearance is not an issue so any size that fits on the rim will fit on my car and the car is mainly a daily driver w/ track time about twice a year (it's damn expensive)
Any other suggestions would be great.

I would personally think you could get that 205 or a 215 on the front wheels, the 7 incher and something larger, like a 225 or 235 on that 8 inch wheel... 195 is a smallish tire size in my opinion. Lets see some pics of the wheels.

tirerack has yokohama avid h4-v4 for $76ea.
205-55-16 and 225-50-16 the same price. I think those avid h4-v4 are out of production because when I bought my tires from NTB they didn't have them, so I got yokohama a550h, the thread are almost the same but they don't have that middle stripe in the center.

Once they are delivered and on the car I will have pics up of all the recent upgrades:
FMIC
Meshies
New gauges (to replace the ones that were stollen out of my car)
Pinstripe removal
etc.

After I posted I realized that I should go w/ something a little wider but want to keep a somwhat low profile to keep the +1 sizing in effect and not screw up the speedo

use the same tire size all around.. i'd say go with the 215's all around

Why? Will handling be adversly affected if I go staggered widths on the tires?

I don't believe the handling will be affected adversely. I went with 255/35 for my rear wheels which are 8.5" wide, so you should be able to get some 235s on there pretty safely. The way I see it is the more rubber you put on the ground, the harder it's gonna hold on.
