Can you say engine swap? Simple as that then my friend you can have your cake and eat it too.;) I think that they are sexy as hell but from a couple of angles the a$s seems too long:( Definately could overlook that for a fine beach side cruiser w/ some power

The best part of the Varietta is that the hard top retractable roof is completely electric!!!

I wouldn't put an SR in a Varietta. The chassis isn't as strong as a regular Silvia chassis.

It has an SR in it ;) SR20DE...

At least it has a manual available.

The Varietta is beautiful.

its prolly the 2nd ugliest hard top convertable I have seen, it looks nice with top down, but the shaping of the roof is butt ugly IMO, the first ugliest is the SC430, I don't like it at all, other than the engine.

But its still an S15

I like it, now I just need to buy one of those super rare S14 convertible, do a S15 conversion. :D :p

But seriously, if I have to choose between a S15 coupe or a conv, I would choose the Convertible.

S14 convertable, I don't think so. I'm guessing you are talking about the S13. A convertable S13 with a Silvia face is a NICE looking car. May not be the best platform for performance, but it still looks hot and would be a fun daily driver with an SR. Mmm...

I am going to go on a limb and say the chassis can handle 250hp;) Maybe it won't handle 400hp well but why would you put that much HP in a beach/chick cruiser.

nah I love the way it looks, just do a slightly hot NA builid up, the sr20 is still good for a bit of power, even NA. Besides, I think the exhaust note sounds better for beach side cruising with an NA engine.
I don't think anyone would chose the vert as their track bitch, but for a daily driver in a sunny state, its irresistable.

WTF?!?!?! The SC430 is focking AWESOME!!! I really like the way the lines flow with the car.....YOU HAVE TO SEE IT IN PERSON AND RIDE IN ONE!!!

Back to topic.....the car is not bad...but I rather have a G35 coupe.
