Hey guys, so I would like to use this but I am in part hording mode right now and could use the cash. This is a Craftsman electric powder coating gun. This is all you need to apply your powder and they have gotten great reviews (for example: Riser's Powder Coating Trials (http://www.jamesriser.com/Machinery/PowderCoating/Testing.html) ).

It is missing the cup lock but it doesn't need it, the cup stays on anyways as it fits snugly but if you really wanted to you could get a lock or just stick something in the hole.

Since it is brand new/unused I plugged it is working(just making sure there are no defects).

You can buy extra cups at the following link for $9.99 a piece if you find it necessary for large jobs and IT WILL WORK WITH POWDERS OTHER THAN CRAFTSMAN, the guy in the review tried it, just to make sure no one thinks they are some funky design to entrap you.

These retailed for $189.99, I am asking $100 shipped/paypal'd. I would also trade for a Bride LR drivers side seat rail, toe rods, tension rods, fan controller(preferably HKS), etc. just ask with wtv you've got. Keep in mind of course that I have a 93 240sx Coupe with a KA24DE.

Thanks,
Fred

These are both still available, s13silvia123 made a great offer for trade but it's on hold because I don't really need it right know.

Let me know what you've got, tension rods, toe rods, seat rail, seat, gauges, etc. or of course cash.

Are you firm on 100 shipped on the one w/o the box? Also, are these capable of powdercoating wheels? How hard is it do so? I've heard of a oven used to bake&powder coat wheels, but never a gun, lmk...very interested.

The gun is what give the paint it's charge, in order for you to apply it.
You still need to bake the paint for it to cure.

BrokenWhite240 (http://zilvia.net/f/members/brokenwhite240.html): I have a KA, thanks though, I do really want a better intake mani *sigh*

turbo_dreams (http://zilvia.net/f/members/turbo_dreams.html): Haven't used them but from what I have read they are easy to use. They can powder coat whatever you want you just have to have something to bake the piece(s) in. You can use a toaster oven, regular home oven, or go as crazy as a powder coating oven.

Like Slammed180 said, these guns charge the powder BUT THEY ALSO DO THE APPLYING(the way he said it sounded like they don't).

All PM's replied.

No, you can even use a toaster oven. It only takes about 400 F if I recall correctly.

The one in the box is sold so just one left guys. Thanks for all your interest so far.

You would just need to either buy an extra cup or refill once or twice, no biggie.

yeah it would, I mean really, I can't see it being limited in any way, it's just a matter of if the piece is big enough you would nee to refill or have an extra cup ready.
