Just general questions, install difficulties, 1/4 mile times, and $ $ $ $. Any other tips are welcome!
P.S. I think I might do this before the swap. I'm about 75% sure that I will, that is. So, help a girl out?!

hhmm well... ka24's internals would prolly die after a few runs w/ a 50shot...
if ur gonna swap u prolly wouldnt wanna spend money reinforcing internals... dunno 1/4 time increases... but i guess u shud get ur new engine first before u enjoy urself w/ ur nitrous cuz hehe ya never kno when it mite juz *boom*

50 is nothing for our cars i hear. 75 is what a lot of people run. there's a guy named frankie that's running a nice n2o setup. 212 hp at the wheels and his car wasn't tuned right for it at the time. he's running mid to high 13's i think.

was that on a stock ka?

I ran 100 shot nos on my stock ka numerous times with no problems...the ka is a big motor...2.4 liters...and the combustion chambers are amazingly detonation resistant...I would just recommend running it the safest way that being a WET direct port system...I also added a 300zx tt fuel pump to play it safe...but yeah I can go on and on about nos on the ka...so just ask away =X

Get a 50 shot and don't worry about it. $500 for the system pay some one $200 for install and your set. I would'nt worry about the fuel system with a 50 shot.

I think I'm gonna do just that, I would feel bad about selling my KA without really umm... experiencing it. Also, the money I'd get for the KA would be some 300-400 bucks: no thanks. ZeroGS14: What did the setup cost you total? With every single thing. Give all the juicy details .

400 for the system...I installed it myself... and 3 bucks a pound for nos when u have to refill the bottle after playing with it =X

An average of time it takes you to run out of a bottle?

That question was asked and answered in the last NOS post.

whats the harm of starting another post on NOS if the other is way back and dead?

chill, and let the lady get some answers
depends on how long you plan to do each shot S13Grl, if you keep it down for the full 12 secs, then i think you might get about 5-6 worth, but once agan i could be wrong, and Mr. Wizard (CA18GUY) will ellaborate about it for us all once again...

How am I being a dick by giving her the answer to her question? There is a whole post about that exact same question so what's the point of going over it again (especially since somebody bumped up the post earlier) Sorry I would have put a link to the other NOS post but my connection was slow cause I was downloading off Morpheus.

There's five billion posts about NOS and Turbo. Frankly, I didn't feel like pulling an old one up especially because it takes about 10 minutes to search for it. So, I started a new one. Also, because I wanted to get more answers in one place, the old NOS post we ended up arguing in. So... anyone else minds that I started a new thread about NOS?

that's how i felt w/ the rb20det thing, i ain't mad or nething, but there's just so many topics that could have been covered, especially w/ nos n turbo. it's just easier to bring it up again, nobody is forcing neone to reanswer a question if its been answered already, but it would just be helpful. the person wouldn't post the topic if they already read and got all their answers from a previous post. besides, maybe someone might have some new info to contribute to the topic.

Yeah i don't blame you guy's for making a new thread. I just did'nt feel like typing up another post. Like I said before I would have looked em' up my self but my connection run's SOOOO slow when i'm downloading stuff I did'nt feel like looking it up. I think we need a group hug

Yea... and he had a business that he kept advertising. I got into a scuffle with him about "image". It was great, I almost feel like digging it up to read and laugh at again.

That happened right when I started on this forum so I didn't know anybody yet. I just read all the posts and kept to myself. It was pretty funny though. I think that whenever a user name sort of implies that there might be a female behind it, there will always be idiots thinking she might like him, just because they are on the same forum. Anyway, thanks for the reminder of the fun times this board had before it got huge.
About NOS, it is similar to a turbo, since it introduces more oxegen to then engine. The timing and compression ratio come into play because of that. Get a cheap wet setup and let me know when it blows.

Wrong there's no such thing as a cheap wet setup. I think you might be talking about the dry setup.
When you individually mix fuel and nitrous into each cylinder you can run huge amounts of hp relativly safe.
Dry setups are crap, I blew my old ka on a dry setup. Not so much because of the kit but the fact that I didn't do a lot of things like colder plugs retarded timming etc..
nitrous oxide much like a turbo can be your best friend IF you do it right.
