sup guys need some help here. recently i did my 5 lug with rebuilt 26mm z32 brakes up front. problem is that the pedal is mushy as hell. and yes i did bleed them, i put 960mL through each brake caliper with a vacuum bleeder. i have FRsport ss lines for the fronts. and also the bleeders are on top. also before the brake swap i had to change the brake booster because it was bad (stiff pedal no brake) but i dont remember if it was an auto or manual booster, if that helps any. i am going to change to a z32 BMC when i do the rears. i drove my friends car with z32 brakes all around and stock MC and it felt decent. what am i doing wrong? also do you need the copper washer if you have ss lines? thank in advance

If the lines have an IF fitting you don't need washers.

You've done everything right, sounds more plausible you have a bad MC if the bleeders are up top and you've throughly bled it.

What is an IF fitting? I got the brakes used with no lines so i didnt get the washers with it. And is it common for the MC to just crap out? It was just working last weekend with the stock brakes. I'm gonna order the z32 MC this weekend. Just waiting on my ebrake cables to finish up the rears

IF= Inverted Flare. you will only use copper washers if you are using banjo bolts for the calipers. which you shouldnt since u have conversion lines.

i bled them again with no improvement, is it possible that when i changed lines that air could have go into the BMC? also i just did a 5 speed and motor swap before the brake, but since the swap my car has a really rough idle as if it were a vacuum leak. but i checked all the hoses for loose clamps and what not. only at idle its rough, at driving RPMs its fine. could a bad vacuum leak cause this pedal to the floor syndrome? im sick and tired of bleeding these breaks.

Bad booster or check valve possibly.
