T5 Transmission

I have been looking for some information on sr20 with t5 transmission. I have heard that some people run t5 because they are stronger, but there is not much on t5 conversions. All I find on sr20 transmission upgrade are 300sx transmission.

If anybody know anything about t5 sr20 transmission conversions please share your information, experience, or setup.

why??? when the VG30T(T)(90-96) trans is adaptable and 2x stronger???????

What are your reasons for wanting to go T5? The trans gearing itself or just because you heard/know it's stronger than the SR's? If you just want a stronger trans and aren't looking into it for different gear ratios, I suggest the 300zx swap as well. I'm going to assume that they are going to cost you roughly the same, with the 300zx kit being the most complete bolt on kit for your car (from Mazworx), assuming you have an S-chassis.

correct me if i'm wrong,..... doesnt the 300zx use a t5 anyway?
