s14 z32 ebrake swap? 2+2 cables long enough with a custom bracket?

So guys before I lay down the change for some r33 gtr ebrake cables has anyone gotten the 2+2 z32 cables to work for the ebrake conversion. The importnut.com brake upgrade site says that the r33 cables are a direct bolt on. Wikipedia says that 2+2 are still ok for s14's. Has anyone here been able to use the 2+2 cables on an s14-z32 rear brake conversion? Would I only need to make a custom bracket?

2+2 Cables work on the S13 but require rerouting of the cable. For the S14, get the R33 cables or cut and splice per importnut instructions.

I'm running R33 cables on my S14 and found they are a little long. They require my ebrake handle to be tensioned to the max and additional adjustment on at the ebrake. Works well though.

S14 should be able to use 2+2 cables - I've seen the R33 cables, and like 'The Stig' said, they're a little long. Worth a shot!

hey i have a set of brand new z32 2+2 e-brake cables straight from NISSAN if you want them..... i was going to put them on my z but i sold it before doing so. there yours for $90 shipped! just paid $155 brand new let em know! oh and my buddy has a S14 and he did the conversion and used 2+2 cables and his work fine..

Ha Ha nice sale drop. I actually made this thread because I have the 2+2 cables and was hoping I wouldnt have to sell them and order r33 cables. Thanks guys I'm going to go ahead and do this conversion in the next week or so. You guys saved me a 120 bux.
