what size wheel spacers would make the wheels flush with the fenders? where can i buy them for a good price? i found quarter inch wheel spacers for $5 each at pdm racing but that doesn't seem enough, then i found half inch wheel spacers for $24 each at opt auto. that's not including wheel studs.

H&R Is a very well known suspension manufacturer, they make spacers too, not cheap, but coming fom them, I'd say they're the real thing.

If you have a S13, maybe the 20mm would make your wheels flush, but you'd need new studs for sure, you can get the NISMO ones from www.nismoparts.com

Matic,

Sure, if you want your car to shake your teeth off while in the highway. Imagine how much balancing and finishing would a company do on a $5 spacer, that probably cost them $1,50 to make?  I'm not sure I want that on my car...

its hard to explain... I'll try to get a picture of a car that has what I'm talking about.  Again I seen it on a Supra on a magazine... It made the car look wider and meaner. Then again, that's my opinion

a widebody kit?
you can make your own or you can get a body kit.  nismo makes one for the 97-98.  looks kinda tacky though.
to make it yourself, cut a series of lines from your wheels out, maybe 6 inches.  then pull out the fenders, and weld in some pieces to fill in the triangular gaps.  then finish it and paint it.  however, this will make your wheelwell diameter larger. a body kit will not.

First of all only beginers get parts at a discount store (maybe a starter or mud flaps) but don't get cheap shit for your 240 and expect it to last!
I got a pace setter exhaust for mine back in the day and within 2 monthes it was scrap metal! and sounded like a glass pack on crack!

I just thought I'd add that wheel spacers are pretty dangerous...my friend had them on his s13 and while on the highway the lugs broke and the wheel fell off...so that was all she wrote on that.....if you're getting wheel spacers I wouldnt go any more then 5mm spacers...spend the money and get the rims witht he correct offset

If you get cheapass universal spacers like those on PDM, you will have troubles. I had them on my S14 for a week or so and the steering wheel shaked like #### on the freeway. it's not hub centriced so it doesnt balance.
I then got some H&R 15mm spacers and they are very very good quality and fit right in without any freeplay, they are specially made for each model, and also comes with extra longer studs!  Those are the real wheel spacers.

thats right you know when you buy good quality spacers because the supply you with longer studs depending on the spacer that you get!
so there will be no falling off wheels!  hehe
bet that hurt!
