NOTE: There's no 'WA' prefix, so I chose 'VA.'

Update 1/17/2011: Can a Mod change this now that there IS a WA prefix?
Update 1/5/2012: Back from the ashes like a phoenix! Actually serious about selling them this time -- throw me your offers! I have lots of feedback on NorthwestNissans.com and EvolutionM.net (same username) if you'd like to do some research.
Update 2/14/2012: Price reduced from $1600 to $1200! Shipping is NOT included, and I'd prefer a local sale.

City: Seattle
State/Province: WA
Price: Sold

Wheel Size: 17x8.0J; 17x9.0J (almost every other set I've seen is 17x7.0; 17x8.0, not staggered at all, or 4-lug)
Wheel Offset: +35; +38
Wheel Brand: NISMO (RAYS Engineering)
Tire Size: 225/45-ZR17; 235/45-ZR17
Tire Brand: Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Starspec
Number of Wheels/Tires available: 4

These have been on my car since 2004, and the only reason I'm selling this setup is because I'm ready for a change and don't have the space to store an extra set of wheels.

Up for sale/trade is a full staggered set of NISMO (RAYS) LM-GT2 wheels. These wheels have been specifically engineered in size and offset for the Silvia, but I'm sure that these sizes would be applicable to other Nissans as well. These clear Z-brakes in the front without spacers.

Included is a full set of perfect condition RAYS center caps and 3 of the original valve stem caps. These wheels are incredibly rare, and were sourced directly from Japan. $600 in shipping and a two month wait was what it took to bring a nice set of these stateside.

According to pg 225 of HyperRev Silvia edition 2, these wheels were used in the Le Mans 24 hour race. The blurb also states that these are a two-piece forged design for light-weight and durability. Original retail was over $600 per wheel. Made famous by the Seafoam Green two-tone S13 from Initial D.

Both of the rears have some curbing (see photos), but it's definitely reparable. The curbing occurred before the wheels were shipped, so it's JDM curbing, which makes it awesome. The faces in the front have lost some of their luster, but not to the point that they would need to be refinished. Plus I couldn't bring myself to scrape off the NISMO decals that I may never be able to find again.

These tires have some of the best wet and dry traction ratings available, as they should for the price. The fronts have about 70% tread and the rears are closer to 50%; I run -2.5* camber in the rear so the wear is uneven. These have one event on them, and only ~12,000 miles of low-action road driving as the S14 hides in the garage most of the time these days.

I won't hold these for anyone -- first person with money gets them. My asking price is already around what other people with LM-GT2 are getting with good tires, but feel free to make a solid cash offer.

Rear wheel 1: I'm seeing that one of the RAYS valve stem caps is missing! Part of the 'N' and 'I' have peeled. The center cap is fine, and overall the wheel is in great shape.

Rear wheel 2: This is the wheel with the noteworthy curbing -- it's not easy to get it to show up in photos and it's not real noticable once the wheel is mounted. I would have considered having this lip refinished, but needing to unmount the tire and disassemble the wheel wasn't worth it to me.

Front wheels: Aside from a good polish to bring back the mid-'90s shine I can't imagine that these would need anything.

Tires: Sort of a pointless photo, but including it anyway for good measure.

Topness! I may also consider a good cash offer for just the wheels!

I actually found your ad on craigslist and wondered if you would part the wheels. Is $1800 for the wheels and tires? or are you looking for that for just the wheels? If you part the wheels from tires how much are we talking? Interested, just need to work around the price tag a bit

Not sure if this counts as a second bump since it's a year and a half later :D

Up for sale (for real this time) since these don't clear my Ohlins.

You'd be looking at about $40/corner for the fronts and $45/corner for the rears, or $170 total to ship the 4 wheels/tires. ($1600 wheels/tires + $170 shipping)*1.03 PayPal = $1820 shipped to 17022.

Weekly-ish bump

Bumping this to keep the record rather than starting a new thread. Rules say that leniency on bumps is granted to those who aren't overly repetitive or price inflexible... check :).

Original post is updated with newer photos and description.

How much do the wheels weigh? Can you send me a price shipped to 91202?
