i drive a 91 240sx and the other day i got into a little accident with my 240. i was going up a hill and made a right turn and during the turn i hit stones and my back end slid out and my whole car slid into a curb. when i got out of the car i had to change the front drivers side tire on the spot and i thought that the only real damages were that tire and my alignment was messed up because my car pulled to the left real bad, well yesterday i actually took some time to inspect my car a little more and seen that a rod that goes from my front bumper to around the engine compartment is bent and that another thing was broke that went from somewhere near the engine compartment and to my axle itself, i dont know too much on this part of the car and i was wondering if anybody could help me and tell me the specific names for these parts if they know and how much would it cost to replace them, any help would be appreciated

Your descriptions are a bit vague.

"rod that goes from the front bumper to the engine compartment" - where? At the bottom back edge of the front bumper, where it meets the fender? That piece is called a "front fender stay". That's the only rod I can think of that attaches near the bumper.

"thing that went from somewhere near the engine compartment and to my axle itself" - sounds like either the tension rod, lower control arm, or the tie rod.

I think you probably mean the T/C rod? Control arms are REALLY hard to "snap" off, they bent in a U shape, and they bend up instead of snapping, I know from experience. The control arm is what your hub/brakes/wheel are attached to, hte T/C rod connects that to the frame on the front side. A T/C will snap WAY before the control arm.
