hey guys. ok im in the process of putting on a body kit & getting a paint job on my 89 240 but i ran into a problem with the front bumper. the only way i could get it to fit properly was by screwing it in a couple inches lower than the stock bumper position. which means that i now have a 2 inch gap in between my bumper & hood/lights. i posted a pic below. any ideas on how i can seal this gap? ive heard several suggestions, including using fiberglass resin to seal it or putting mesh in the gap(which is definetly out because i want something solid there, to prevent water from entering & also to prevent someone from reaching into my engine). im still considering my options so i figure if anyone can help me its you guys. any & all ideas are appreciated, thanks!

why not stick it on properly, where it fits, then use some self tapping screws, or drill new holes and stick bolts thru them. On my S14, i ditched the stock mounting bracket and made new stuff from home depot, and it works much better. :p good luck!

I would definitly try and make custom brackets or mounts for that. Also hit up the dealer/manufactorer and find out if this is a reaccuring problem, and if so what's the easiest/comman fix.

That's too bad it doesn't fit right though. :(
