EGI PUMP relay buzzing noise

EGI pump relay makes a buzz noise when ever I turn the key and the car won't start. I just dropped the motor back in after rebuilding the motor. I tried switching the relay but that didn't work. Any help will be appreciated.

make sure all the wires on your harness are connected correctly

Wow, I'm pretty new to the forum but it seems that many people are having this same issue with their egi.

I had the same problem with my freshly swaped ka and I know this might sound dumb but check all your grounding points. Seriously check them, I found a lose dirty ground and once cleaned and tightened my egi has never buzzed and my car does not stay in the "on" mode any more.

dead battery most likely thats why that would happen.

could also be a short... but I would check grounds first
