i have never had such a ridiculous experience with a company in all my years in the automotive industry.
here is the beginning of my story.
i contacted the JRautoshop via the sales email provided on their webpage. this is the original email i sent to them.
[copied and pasted form my email.]
hello, I'm an interested buyer seeking information about your s14 front clip for sale posted on jrautoparts. We specializing in JDM engine and front clips (http://www.jrautoparts.com) for 3000 dollars.
here are some questions.
1) what are your guarantees as to the condition, mileage, running status, damage, and reliability of the front clip and motor.
2) how was the front clip acquired, who is your source in japan.
3) what part of the vehicle was damaged?
4) is the front clip the exact same one as pictured, with the exact mileage of 64882?
5) is there any mods, and have there ever been mods on the car or motor?
6) why are no body panels included? where are they? destroyed?
7) is this a COMPLETE front clip? every single tap, zip tie, and bolt still intact? if not, whats missing?
8) where is the clip stored? outside, inside...
9) again, what guarantees do you give to buyers, if installed professionally? do you have a terms and agreements?
10) have all fluids been drained from the motor? does the motor leak in any place? any liquid at all, even water.
11) what is the condition of the turbo?
12) is there anything i should know before buying that is not posted on the web page? such as broken belts, rust, broken clamps, etc.
13) since i am out of state, up here in Washington, would you be willing to work a deal with me, or is your company firm on the price... (zip 98072)
14) is the electric climate control still in working condition (after hooked up)?
15) can more pictures be provided of the entire clip? so i can examine where the cuts were made, and better diagnose the damage?
theses questions should be sufficient enough to tell me weather or not the clip is an adequate candidate for my purchase. thank you for the time your putting into answering my questions.
hope to hear from you shortly.

the next day, i received two replies to the email:
[cut and pasted from my email inbox.]
email 1:
98 S14 front clip with 45km/h
(two atachments of picutes of the clip, one of motor, one of mileage.)
email 2:
short clip of the clip running, better than me tell you the motor is good. i don;t sale junk that don't start and run. call me at 16264436668 i will answer all your ???????????????
the video was 5 seconds long and just was a cell phone clip of the clip running, sound was poor quality as well. i dont know how well it was running to because i noticed that he didnt have the intercooler piping hooked up... but thats besides the point.
after the poorly written, extremely unprofessional emails, i proceeded to call him.
this is how the phone call went.
"he answers: HELLO?!" took me by surprise because i wasn't sure if i had the right number...
i said: "hi, is this..."
then i was cut off and he told me "hold on."
then i heard some yelling in the back ground, then nothing.
he came back and said: "hello?" like i was suppose to be saying things and was wasting his time.
i then again proceeded to say, "hi, im calling about the s14 front clip you..."
cut off again, he said "yeah yeah yeah, what about it?"
by then i was really starting to wonder whats going on.
i told him "my name is cameron, i sent you an email last night."
this is where it gets even stranger.
he said, angrly for some reason..." yes i read that F***ing S*** you sent me, what do you want to know i tell you everything in the email and all that S***."
at first i thought i misunderstood him, because he had a accent im not sure what kind.
i then proceeded to ask him a few questions, each question was met with curse words, and just absolutely rude comments.
soon i had had enough, when he said, "you gona by the F***ing clip or not?!" "i don't sell S*** that doesn't run, so what you want?"
so i told him, "actually, i don't think i would like to by from you... goodbye."
and that was that.
i wanted to write this to warn you. dont do business with them.

thanks for reading, good luck...:2c:
