Asking $100 for the trans.
I'm posting these up for sale to help cover my SR swap parts, otherwise I'd keep the trans.
I bought the car and drove it yesterday for about 5 miles before the engine rod bearing slipped and rattled so much I parked and towed it to the final destination.
During this time I came to find the transmission was really smooth no grinding, nor did it pop out of any gear when driving.I didn't shift it like a maniac because the motor was on it's last leg, but as far as I can tell it shifts better than my 60k mile SR trans. Because the motor had a rebuild at one point, I'm betting the transmission was either replaced or rebuilt completely, because the chassis has 191k miles!
If you're interested in the KAE single cam engine, I'll let that go for $50 picked up OBO because it sounded extremely bad, but still ran lol. Definitely needs a rebuild, and it was just a matter of time before the crank rod flew off the crank, so I'm betting the crank and at least 1 piston rod are chewed up, and quite possibly the valves on that cylinder.
All items posted are located in york but i frequently travel from lancaster to harrisburg and york. Email is in the profile. Thanks!
