We suppose it was inevitable. At some point just about every kind of car is the unwilling recipient of Lambo doors, and the Nissan GT-R is no exception. German company LSD announced a new vertical door system to transform Nissan's supercar into a winged Godzilla, available for a mere 1,949 euro. The kit includes a guided roller system that connects to the stock mounting point and a buffer system to prevent the doors from being opened too wide or from dropping down. According to LSD, the system also makes the GT-R an "absolute looker" and offers "more safety and more precise opening and closing of the door." It was an ..."inevitability" ... but so is my dog pissing all over my carpet if I leave it alone for longer than an hour...doesn't mean I have to like it :( .

Not against lambo doors, just think they look better on wider cars with a lower profile. Most of the time. Doesnt look too bad though.

Lambo doors are great if they open far enough. You gotta get the door past about *70.

Most of the kits out there just don't open far enough or have to swing out in order to give you clearance. It's pointless to have to duck under your door to get out in a parking lot.

Hmm lets see since its a GTR that kit will cost approximately $5,999.99 from PasswordJDM and be made in full "DRY" carbon fiber, or completely out of titanium.
