View Full Version : Having a hard time removing zenki headlights

installing the kouki tail light tonight and unbolted all the 4 bolts and unclipped all the wiring harness for the left zenki light...somehow it doesnt budge when i expected it to come right off.....
anyone know what to do?

to take off the tail light just remove the bolts from the back.. then theres this black sealant between the body and tail light its almost like rtv..use a flathead or blade to pry it off a little..

thanks man, i saw that while i installed the center piece.
heck it already looks like kouki with the center piece, but ill try ur advice..
will come back for report.

it's got factory sealant. like every other car ever. you have to pull.
please reapply (or save/spread your old stuff) some sealant on there, or you'll have water in the trunk and feel like a SNIP

ohhh, i almost took it off/ thanks man.
got it installed, and wow it looks amazing, now it looks like a "240"
oh yeah u know the corner bulb for zenki tail lights? the kouki ones didnt have an opening socket for it.....the main ones plugged in, but the kouki tail lights didnt have an opening for the bulb for corner....
anyone know what im talking about?
