So my car keeps dying if i let it sit for too long(18-24hours). My alternator is good i had it checked but when i put in a new battery it does the same thing. My conclusion is that my alternator is taking from the battery but not putting back in...what could be the problem. Also i have a hotwire/ground wire going to the alternator but its a little cracked could this be the problem?

I would fix that wire, I had the same problem, but mine ended up being a simple little led that would flash when the ignition was turned off, which over time (4-6 hours) would kill my battery, look for anything that would be draining the battery.

id double check the wire, but sounds like you have something draining the battery. do you have any aftermarket electronics? some of the harder ones ive seen shorting (on other vehicles) are some of the not immidiately visable lights like the trunk light, glove box light, vanity mirror light ect staying on while the car is off.
