Cleanest 1998 240sx w/SR20DET

Testing waters to see if anyone is interested in 1998 240sx with SR20DET. Car runs and looks great. Installed the S14 SR20DET in June 2007 and ran strong until I got a ref ticket last October. Car has not been driven since and I need to sell it out of state or as a race car or even to someone in California who will be willing to buy it "AS IS" so I can get rid of it. Buyer will have to take care of the ref ticket or smog in their state.

Car was a show car and only has about 50,xxx original miles on it. I have reciepts for every part that I upgraded and has been very well taken care of. Original paint on this Nissan and the interior is complete and in brand new condition. Selling car for $14,000 OBO. No lowball offers please.

True didnt think about that, well it probably is the cleanest as far as body and interior go, maybe not the DMV record. But at least I am honest and I am trying to sell out of state or to someone in CA that can use it as a track car or whatever they want to do with it.

If I get no buyers, I am going to have to go back to a KA and I would rather someone enjoy this car as it was meant to be driven rather than go through the hassle of swapping a KA back and doing the ref inspection...etc.

Have to take it to a Ref station so they can clear the car and you can register it again. If it had a KA, I would probably be asking around 9500 just cause of the condition and low mileage of the car.

i got a ref ticket and i just paid the ticket , registion was due 2 months later had it "Smoged" and bam got my tags GLWS CLEAN S14

Well I am also looking to get rid of the car, want to buy a larger car for the family so time to sell the 240

just a heads up if you sell it some someone if cali the ref ticket gets erased with the new owner.


i got a ref ticket in my crx, transfered title to my gf ( different last name ) and no more ref ricket.


so if you really wanted to keeo the car you could. but i dont think thats why youre getting rid of it.

Did some research on that and found mixed responces. Some said it got erased, others said it stays with the vin #. Honestly I could try to sell it to my g/f but like I said before....I want to get rid of it. Nothing wrong with engine, never been in an accident. I am getting married next September and this car needs to be gone before then. I think I have been pretty honest about my reasons for selling it. $14,000 OBO takes this S14.
