Post your mayhem and how you fixed it if you can.
I've got a pretty harsh 1/4 panel that i believe is fixable without going to widebody (not yet anyway. Not till i get wider/lower offset rims).
Replacing panels is not an option so if that's what you did, save it.
I want to see true metal working.

what you need:
mig gun
mig nails
grinder - the metal hand one with all the grooves. forgot what its really called. (to indetify the dent areas)
slide hammer.
dike
1. use the grinder to outline the dent
2. put the nails in the mig gun.
3. apply gun the dent area. (hold for no longer than 1 sec. otherwise your gonna end up burning a whole through your quarter panel.)
4. slide hammer it out a little.
5.remove the hammer
6.use dike to pull off the nail
then repeat steps 1-6 until all the paint in the dent area is gone.
iono if anyone understood that but thats how it works :D

Well, i know how to use a dent puller, i was just looking for before, after and during pics, just to see the dent itself and what it took to pull it out.
My shit is pretty massive. Dont know about nissans but FC 1/4 meat is pretty thick. I took me around an hour to "roll" the lips flat with a rather girthy hammer.
Here's a pic.

My s14 quarter panel was pretty beefy compared to my s13 when I had to repair that one.
Oh, and a word of advice to everyone on here, those slide hammer dent pullers you get at the auto parts stores... the ones that screw into the sheet metal... suck ass. You end up just making swiss cheese out of the panel rather than pulling it.

you could use a real dent puller aka it welds a stud onto the panel, and then use a slide hammer... Thats what we usually did at the body shop i worked at

So Billy Mayes Haze's Dent Wizard is a no go :) ? My friend had tons of door dings...used the dent wizard/ding king and just abt perfect now. Wish I had pics. But i mean for $20...beats going to the body shop.

those creased and stretched the metal. he needs to actually pull it out with a stud puller or some other form of puller

Well, i'm sure i can't rent a eagle claw style dent puller (stud welder) nor do i have the cash (another tool on my 'to-buy' list) right now for one.
I was watching youtube videos of pulling with these and it works REALLY well.
The glue method wont help this.
Like door panel dents and press dents (look between the body line and the hatch on my car) it would work fine but below that....gotta go extreme.
I may have to talk to my buddy Lynn. Either i can diy at his shop OR pay him to pull it out, hammer the high spots down myself an get busy with the bondo and handmade sanding blocks. He's a little high priced with his work (b/c it's high quality) so i guess if i just give him the gorilla work, i can do the rest myself. Hopefully, someone comes to the rescue with a budget method.
I could hammer down the high spots and bondo over all that BUT building it up that high will lead to it cracking. I could do it but it's not ideal....
Thanks for the tip on the slide hammer/screw style pullers.

knock/pry the dent out from the inside, beat down high spot above body line. 40 grit to steel, bondo, sand, bondo, sand, glaze, sand, etch prime, prime, wet sand, seal, paint, clear coat, wet sand, buff. there you go, now get it done!

It would be about 6x faster to rent a grinder and welder from home depot. Get some sheet metal, weld 2 sheets, bam.
Then go ahead and weld your bay, fix the rust holes ect with the rest of the remaining day.
This is not something you want to do twice. I had to sell a car because it was "non" restorable because I half asses stuff like that.

Or you can use a comealong and some I-bolts, just dont drill to many holes cause you gotta fix em later. Start from the edges and move twards the center of the dent. Took me 2 hours, definatly worth it to do it yourself, just find a tree to hook the comealong to.

That is a DAMN good idea. We have one at the shop!
Nismokatfreak, moar about your car plz.
That damage would have me picking up a new shell!!!!!!!
Do you have any pics of the work in progress?
GOOD JOB! Seriously. THANKS.
Again guys, that dent isn't going to POP out. To give you a general idea how strong that 1/4 panel metal is, i threw a cinder block (yes, a cinder block) at my parts car as hard as i could. It did not dent the 1/4 noticeably. Like you could see it from 4 feet and closer but other than that, you wouldn't notice. I had to show my friend andrew it wouldn't pop out as well AND WHY. Cinderblock. It takes alot of force to do that to an fc. like oh say an 18 wheeler + gaurdrail. So the previous owner told me......
I tried to beat most of it out from the inside. Alot isn't accessable from the inside. I wished it was. The way the wheel well is in relation to that dent makes it VERY difficult. I'd have to cut out some sections of sheet metal from INSIDE the hatch to fully get to it that way.

Thanks man, yeah ill get them off my phone tommorow, its just alot of hammer and dolly work after you get it out with the comealong, I would have gotton a new shell but i got it for free cause the guy who gave it to me bought a new shell with insurance check so i had to fix it. (Could not let a beautiful 240 go to the junk yard)

+1 for that. this was done to our shop car after it met a wall.

Everyone should make friends with a skilled PDR technician, you'll be amazed at what they can do if they are skilled.
If you dont know what PDR is google or youtube it.
