if i install an safc without tuning it to take it to a shop to get tuned will the car run?

If everything is (1) wired correctly, (2) you have the correct setup settings and (3) all of the tuning points are left uncorrected it will run the same as stock.

an AFC modifies the signal, depending on what you tell it to do... so leave all the tuning parameters at zero and you are telling it to do nothing!

Depends on whether or not you changed the injector size or upgraded to a Z-maf. Z-maf is easy, injector/fuel map is where it gets fun.

I am curious on the last part of this b/c I have seen people posting everything from 2in 5out to 6in 6out all with a Z32 mafs and my car stalls out a couple seconds after starting it on any of those settings. I had to use 1in and 7out or maybe 6 out I would have to check. I am curious why everyone else has a 2 or a 6 in and I have a 1in... Is there a link on here for safc install tips? I am searching safc install and tuning...
