In a couple years I'll be ready to swap in an sr20det T28, and I was just curious as to what they redlined at, and if I would need an aftermarket tach. thanks
i DID search btw.

chit, i wanna say 7500.
You won't need another tach unless you have an 89-90 240sx. The dohc s13's and s14's one's work but will have the 6500rpm redline. Which is fine as long as you train yourself to rev in the red:D
another option if you get a chasis clip that's the same as your car. i.e. s13 car/ s13 clip etc. is to use the gauge cluster that comes with your clip. that way you'll have the correct redline but you'll speed'll read in kph.
Just make sure to use the appropriate speed sensor depending on which guage cluster you use.

There is no power from the t25 after 6500rpm so the redline that we have will tell you to shift:D

yea but for S14's they went conservative and started calling it red after 6500. Doesn't really mean anything though.
