S13 solid sway bar bushing, spacers/washers

Would it be a good idea to use some solid metal washers/spacers instead of the stock rubber bushing on the swaybar ends? Anyone tried it?

I dont see what it would hurt aside from you might hear vibrations you dont want to. You can get an energy suspension poly bushing kit at any parts store for like $11 though. Enough washers to stack will end up costing at least have of that kit that does your full car. The energy suspension bushings are pretty hard too!
