KA24DE wont hold idle ?

so i've had this problem with my car that when you come to a stop and the revs go down to idle , its drops down to like 500 but then returns to normal idle and never actually stall.

but now the problem is that when you drop it down to idle the car will stall . even after you start the car again it will fire but then stall again.

This wont happen when the car is cold though.

Idle Air Control Valve, clean it or replace it.

sweet ! i took out the IACV and gave it a good clean.

however the problem still persists but its definatley alot better .


another question though .. can you use carb cleaner to clean your throttle body ??
