HELP! Simple Alarm Noob Question//

Hey Yall,

I just bought a 240sx and it came with an alarm system.

Now, the guy who sold me the car only gave me 1 key and one Alarm "remote" fob. I made 2 spare keys at homedepot for like $3 bucks. I just recieved the duplicate remote today which I bought from ebay.

I got the remote but it did not come with instructions to synchronize the new remote. I emailed a bunch of sellers and people but no replies.

I know that it is a simple process to sync the new remote. Does anyone know the programming process? It could be a simple lock, unlock, lock, unlock, to a more complicated process, I tried many combinations such as pressing the two remotes at the same time and all that good stuff.

Every alarm is different, and since you didn't mention brand or model there's no way any of us will know what you even have, much less how to program it. Contact the alarm manufacturer. They will be able to help you better.

I know this isn't helpful to your question whatsoever, but... I suggest you get a 2way and get sensors installed on your car...

As for your question... The only way to figure that out is to call the manufacturer or... someone on the forum to tell you who has the same system.
