got a few questions about the wiring harensses.....

1.) I tried to take out the wiring harness in my car tonight and realized that some of the wires coming off the ecu go under the dash. Am I gonna have to take out my dash to get to it? will I have to take out the entire harness out of the dash??

2.) I was test fitting my harness today (with the SR out) and noticed that nothing plugged into my starter, altenator, and a/c (which I plan on keeping) am I missing some more parts???

3.) I was looking at a pic of an SR that have been taken out to see if I could figure out where the starter, and altenator went and i noticed it had a wire coming off the tranny...that was going somewhere (now idea) and I don't have that. Just a plug. Will the KA tranny wiring work?

Any help would be much appreciated!!! here's me :( wishing I had bought a clip.

1) I already had my whole dash out when I did mine so it was easy for me. Coming from the ecu is like 12 wires right up in the dash there is a plug just unhook it there --- you will eventually need to splice a diffrent plug on there so it will work correctly.

2)IIRC. you use your factory harness still for those I believe the wires for those come out of the black fuse box on the passanger side. AC needs to be rewired look at the faqs on heavy throttle.

3)KA tranny wiring will work just make sure to change your sr speed sensor in the back of the tranny to the ka one.

Thanks a lot! I totally forgot about HT's faq's. Got another question though. HT talks about using the a/c compressor you already have....is there any way to use the SR compressor? I have the SOHC compressor still and undischarged....but I'm not sure I can make the "custom braket".

Might be easier to just make the braket than to retro fit the SR comp with R-34.....even though I'll have to do that to the SOHC comp eventually....just thinking outloud..or typing, whatever :D
