This past winter, my car's been boosted either by charging or jumper cables approx. 35 times.....I'm thinking it's not too good for the car's electrical system but could it be the cause of my passenger side window not working?
It's not frozen and I couldn't find a fuse for just the one power window, wondering if anybody had similar problems like that from boosting.. or if there IS a window fuse somewhere??

If I were you, I'd be more worried about why I've had to get boosted 35 times in one season then why my window doesn't go down...

If you're north of Barrie, I'd totally recommend a block heater. I don't have one, and I ended up getting boosted 4x this year. -28 evenings seem to really sap that battery power. :D

dunno, I live in thunder bay, not as bad as winterpeg (Canadians laugh here) but we had a BRUTAL winter, never had a problem starting w/out a block heater...

I think it's better for the car to keep it a bit warm though so if I drive it next winter, I'll drop one in..

heheh, thats the thing, I have a block heater and have plugged it in...I thought all 240sx's in Canada were built with block heaters?? but I think I just need a new battery. With the window not coming down, its real inconvenient,...there's got to be a fuse somewhere tho, maybe one of those fuses under the hood??

My '98 did. Of course, it was sold in Dedmonton.

The cause of the window not rolling down has nothing to do with the battary. if the battary was low enough to not let the window roll nothing else would turn on. Unless you have absolutly no power it's not the battary.

Does your car still start? Can you roll the drivers side window?

If you anwsered yes to any of these questions then
then the case is that the window regulator or window motor is done . Pick one up at a junk yard and replace.

So is there definitely is no fuse for the power windows?? Thought there might be one under the hood but I dont have that sticker map for where the fuses go on that one.
Just that replacing motor sounds expensive, esp. since there's No 240s in junkyards here
