Hey guys,
I have done a fair amount of searching here and on other sites and i havent come up with the answer i need.
i am looking to replace my stock s14 seats. i dont want a fixed bucket seat since the car is mainly a street car/weekend driver.
problem is, all the reclinable seats are bottom mount and i cant find any seat brackets to use.

i have tried to have my stock mounts cut and reused on new seats, but it makes the seat sit to high.

does anyone have any information on a reclinable seat that can be mounted in a s14 using off the shelf brackets?
or are there any brackets that i can use from bottom mount seats?

are there any side mount seats that are reclinable/comfortable?

i have NRG type r seats if that helps.

thanks in advance for the help :)

the brackets actually are no longer offers for the S chassis from NRG...So they would have to be made .

Bride MO rails they are for bottom mount seats. search they have a diagram of the mounting holes, and u can use that to determine if they will work for your seats

haha, I'm using brackets from an 89-91 crx on my 240. doesn't take too much to make them fit actually.

I have bride MO rails - they work with just about any bottom mount seat (even fit ebay ones - we checked)

I think s14s an s13s have the same seat bolt pattern. Either way, the crx mounts don't just bolt right on, i had to make a couple small plates to get them to do so. but is an option, and at least the crx seat brackets give you something to go off of. they are the same with as the 240sx brackets and everything (the driver side seat rail is used for the passenger and vise versa). I will try to get some pics soon.

I have a Momo bucket, which happens to be bottom mount - I use Wedge Engineering brackets bolted directly to the seat (I don't need adjustability). They're SUPER low, and about $50.

my passenger seat can be hard mounted, but id like the driver seat to be adjustable.

maybe MO rail for the driver side, and wedge brackets for the passenger side.

The best way would be to cut out the floorboard hump and bolt the seat straight to the floor using universal rails.
