ok so i have a red top sr20 everything stock cept fmic intake and boost controller running 10lb

so im driving on the freeway and was boosting and suddenly i here a dead cylinder i pull over and i find this

http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee220/rsibley22/0323090020_01.jpg
<a href="http://s229.photobucket.com/albums/ee220/rsibley22/?action=view&current=0323090020_01.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee220/rsibley22/0323090020_01.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

and this is what i did
replaced spark plug put it back in and still no bueno
switched coil packs and still no bueno
took spark plug out and put it in coil pack to see if it has spark and it does
put it back in and still no bueno

so spark + fuel = combustion
but not in my case?

im thinking that piece of the plug had to go some where and maybe it scored the cylinder and im not getting sufficient compression?
would that possibly be a problem?

im going to try and get a cylinder pressure gauge thingy tomorrow and look at the numbers

If you guys have any suggestions or advice it would be much appreciated

zilvia for life son!

Looks like you were running lean. Im willing to bet rings/pistons are toast. Compression check it and see what you get. If its low, get a capful of oil and drop it in the cylinder, check it again. If it jumps higher than before, then your rings are bubyeeee...

^^^^^true, and if comp is good, i would check the injector for damage and flow.

Let me know if you need some stock sr pistons and rods.
