View Full Version : Chicagi: April 19 Car Meet (Non Car Specific)

Just want to alert you there is a meet in Schaumburg by Unos on April 19. It is not car specific, prolly going to be mostly Hondas, but some nice cars will be there, including RX7s, Supras, Bimmers, Vipers, Vettes, and a bunch of other cars, I will prolly end up going to check out some of the cars.

There will prolly be a Nissan meet that month anyway so it all depends if you like big meets or small meets.

Last year there was a pretty big meet held in the parking lot next to Uno's on Golf/Meacham in Schaumburg. It was mostly imports due to advertisement on import only forums....

This year I'd like that to change, and have everyone come out, no matter what you have.. import.. domestic.. whatever.. this site welcomes everyone and anyone.

I'd say there was about 100 cars or so at the meet last year. This site didn't start till about 2 weeks after the meet. So hopefully this year, we can get everyone together.

I want to plan this early enough for alot of people to hear about it, and get the word around. If you post on any other forums, quote this post and put a thread up about it.

Well I'll show up to the 240 meets regardless. I would only show up to this thing with the sr so people can oooh and aah at it.

Ya know, to boost my ego and all. :D

I think I'm getting one from JDM recycler but they're in Japan right now so I'm waiting for them to get back.

If that doesn't work out I'll get the one wtih the harness from SOKO.

Go ahead, I showed up to all Nissan meets and 240 meets in my Camry. Plus its a public place, so do what you please, I'll be there most likely in my Camry, slight chance of me in a 240. But I'll prolly be there to juss take pics.

Ya try not to mess up this place, there are a lot of meets held here, such as DTMPower.net usually has a meet there every thursday, and some people in the surrounding office buildings complain and call the cops, so burnouts and **** aren't much of a good idea, but I know someone is still going to do it.
