i got a phone call and a friend informed me that there is an old pic of my car on ebay. so i check and find it, its a sample photo for a tcsportline cf hood. at first i thought it was funny then i thought "hey thats not a tcsportline hood."

im not familiar with this company so i emailed them to take down the photo but they are not responding. does anyone here know of them and ask them to take the pic down please?

I'm not an expert, but I'd call them and tell them if it's not removed immediately then you are going to file a lawsuit against them for infringement of intellectual property. I'd also tell them that you're reporting them to ebay. If it was a professional photographer that took the pic, it would help you out.

Contact ebay and let them know if the infringement.

Oh. Well if it's not your pic, that might make it harder. I dunno though, hit up ebay first, then a lawer.

gotta love US bodykit companies.. not enough money to have pics of their product on real cars, so they jack similar pictures

it looks like its at a car show and when you enter a car show it usually includes a clause that your car may be photographed and published.

i know when you enter shows like HIN it says that on the back of your ticket.

there are a lot of companies that go around using any picture they can get their hands on for ebay auctions, really...there's no telling who's selling what...some people use the name of other products to sell their own...

i mean really? is it bothering u that much that u have to put so much effort to get it taken down?
