I did mine a couple weeks ago..pretty easy...jack up the car and place on jack stands.

the starter is on the left side of the engine (as you are standing at the front of the car) by the oil filter.

-disconnect the negative battery cable, get on your back under the car, and disconnect the two wires going to the starter...one is held on by a plastic clip and the other is held on by a bolt...you may find it easier to undo the bolt while standing over the engine bay and using a long socket

--now that the the two wires are undone, you will nee to remove the two very long bolts that hold the starter to the transmission...you will be able to see one of the bolts while you are lying on the back, the other will be hidden over the "crest" of the bell housing (you'll see what i mean when you get down there)...undo those two bolts carefully, i had to use a breaker bar, and the starter motor will drop down...now simply position the new starter motor in place, bolt in and THEN you can reattach the two wires...i couldn't line the starter up properly when i had the wires attached...spent like 30 minutes trying...when i dropped it back down and undid the wires, was able to get the starer back in place in like 30 seconds...then don't forget to reattach the negative battery cable

So the bolts that are holding the starter are screwed in pointing towards the front of the car? I was having a rough time looking for them the other way around. Thanks A LOT! You're cool

if the newer KA24 is anything like the s13 motor my starter blots where on the front side of the unit. they screwed in towards the dash. the bottem one is a bitch to get out, but i had to do it twice due to the fact that they gave me a ****ed up starter the first time.

yeah i changed my starter a few weeks ago, easy job. Just a couple bolts, a couple wires and your done. One of the bolts is kinda hidden above the tranny alittle and you dont have much space to turn it. It only took me about an hour to do. You can do it.:) indysilvia gives a good description, follow that.
