View Full Version : sr20 wont go past 3000-3500 rpm?

my sr20 when i give it gas it wont go past about 3000 rpm at full throttle, if i give it gradual throttle it goes to about 4000 at stops, any suggestions?

Fuel system problem. Clogged filter, kinked line, damaged pump.

Its probably the MAF or AFM or what ever the thing that measures air to the engine on a SR is called :) When they break and through up errors the ECU puts the car into safety mode. Do you have the boost turned up on your car or is it cold out?

I second the faulty MAFS. Check your wiring. If all fails, check your ecu for codes.

He's right, it's your mafs.

I'd be willing to put 100 buckazoids down that it's your wiring. Somewhere along the line it's been severed from the ECU to the mafs itself.
