I'm trying to make a decision on what I want to do with my chassis...

Either way the exact same thing is going to be done to it...

Starfire Pearl Paint Job - 077 ( from 07-09 Lexus IS)
Flat Black Engine Bay
Rolled Fenders

But my real dilemma is that my body is sub par to say the least...

There's bondo all over the engine bay, although the chassis is straight but there are just a lot of things that irritate me. When I installed my FMIC I took my fender off instead of taking my wheel off to remove the window wash reservoir under the battery tray. And to take my fender off I had to chip bondo off... There's bondo on some screws that needs to be chipped off and it's just an extra hassle.

To add to it all, I've got dents all over the car. Big dents, small dents. The paint of course is shot. I got into an accident that bent the radiator support and did some driverside engine bay damage and now the radiator sits slightly off.

So do you think I should just buy a shell in better shape (maybe even white so it sort of matches the outside paint instead of pearl white exterior & red interior) or work on what I have...

Thanks in advance.:wan:

Just buy a shell and you'll be worry free.

im in the same decision making proccess. S14 wtih clear coat fogging, rust, bondo, snapped subframe stud and a whole lot of other small things that really bother me too. However now days you could by a shell, and it could have worse things you wouldnt know about untill you fully inspect the shell.

I say wait it out, find a stock full car and swap your good parts to it.

That would really bother me. I would pick up a new chassis. Just make sure you get a clean one.
