My car is getting built, and I need some advice, because i'm stuck on ideas. The hill going down to my driveway is extremely steep, and narrow (so I can't angle much going down it). Which means, that I scrape my front all the time. I decided to go with the type x urethane bumper, since it can take more of a beating than fiberglass, but i'm undecided on the sides and rear. I'm looking for something that will flow with the front bumper. I don't like the oem rear valances, so that's out. I don't really like the type x skirts either. I have some brand new uras sideskirts, which I think will flow pretty good with the front. I'm just stuck on stupid, with the rear.

Might want to specify what type of Uras skirts you have. I'm going to assume its the N+, because anything else wouldn't flow with oem, at least I don't think it would.

Sexy style...The highest aero out there eventhough you shouldn't run sexy style unless you are slammed.

In my opinion the aggressive Uras skirts and rear actually look really good with the Kouki aero front.

In my opinion, your gonna destroy your front fenders because of the daily stress on them.
But good choice to go with a real front bumper.
just keep the metal fenders for strength, cause fiber glass ones will defintaly break above the tire from front bumper flex.

my driveway sucks too man :(

I'm going to go home, and check.

Yeah, I do too. That's something to think about.

Although I didn't mention anything about fenders, you are right. I have front and rear overfenders, so I may, or may not run them. I don't think your driveway is as bad as mine. I'll take pictures, and post them up. Let's compare. :naughtyd:

Thank you, for those pictures. Unfortunately, if I remember correctly, the sideskirts I bought, were not the aggressive ones. I'm going to cross my fingers, because if they are, all I need is the back bumper. :w00t:

Supermade is nice, but I don't think it's going to flow with everything else.

Fenders
My old front fender.
metal, stock.
http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s242/castro_castro/dirtycar000047.jpg
The front bumper had a tendency to pull up and down on the fender when going up and down driveways.
After awhile, the fender well in the front started to get a crease and the part that sticks out in the very front most of the fender started to crease and rip.(this was happening before the zipties were used there.)
Then, as the bumper pulled the fender more and more, it creased above the wheel.

(the damage right in front of the door is from going off course in the rain.)

My advice would be to with the bumper fully supported. If the bumper support isnt holding it up, then have a little metal brace welded in from the bottom of the rad support to the top of that little bumper valance thing. That way it cant hang down.

Also, those little metal arms that hold the bottom front area of the fender to the frame. Make sure they are always connected.

that way your bumper will take the abuse and not your fenders.

When I put my new fiberglass over fenders on, I cracked one right away. It got caught on a speed bump, cracked the bumper and the top of the fender.

Had to fiber glass the inside of both.
And fiber glassed the inside of the good fender to prevent future issues.

The fiber glass repair kit is only 15.99 at auto zone. real easy. might be worth doing a couple sheets on the inside of your fiber glass fenders.

See if you can find a 1-Piece rear lip those look pretty sweet...I think G row makes one or something like that but it looks real nice and will flow well...

I'm being told that these skirts are the Uras type IV (4), which are the ones I bought 2 years ago. Think it will work out, with my type x bumper?

There is a guy locally selling an Origin aggressive rear bumper, that i'm thinking of picking up. Not sure if the lines will match up with the skirts though.
