Long story short, I've got a set of Nismo GT2's that I need to disassemble in order to refinish them. Does anyone know what the torque specs are on the nuts and bolts that hold the wheel center to the rim?

I've checked with my local Nissan dealership, and even after a few phone calls, they were unable to dig up any info.

I don't know if the torque specs are the same for all Rays GT style wheels, but I can't imagine it being much different for these.

EDIT: Also, if anyone can clarify; is there a specific loosening/tightening order?

You'd be best off finding the specs based on the particular type of hardware used. Find out what material the components (bolt/ nut washer etc..) are made out of, the thread size and pitch, bolt length and diameter. You should be able to find corresponding specs for that setup. Either that or you going to have to get into contact with Rays manufacturing plant. I'd actually give J-Line wheels a call since they are based in the US. They build custom 3pc wheels and can should have insight on the topic.

Also, as with any circular bolt sequence, you should tighten them in an alternating configuration or similar pattern... ie: 12 o'clock > 6 o'clock> 3 > 9 > etc..

Appreciate the info, and I figured that the 12 to 6 loosening order would be the way to go.

Bumping this up for anyone running a search on this topic since I've found a partial answer:

Mackin does not release this information. From what I've gathered across multiple internet searches ranging from HondaTech, E46fanatics and my350z, the general populace says 22-30 lbs/ft due to the material composition of the nuts/bolts.
